Overview

DealCalc is operated by Virtual Guruz LLC. This policy explains what information we process when you use the DealCalc app, website, reports, AI tools, and support services.

Information we process

Core calculators can be used without an account. If you create an account or use cloud features, we may process your email address, profile name, plan and entitlement status, saved deals, property and project details, addresses, notes, budgets, invoices, receipts, expenses, portfolio information, reports, and the inputs and outputs of features you choose to use.

How we use it

We use information to authenticate you, save and sync your work, calculate and generate reports, provide requested AI and property tools, restore paid access, prevent abuse, diagnose problems, respond to support requests, and improve reliability.

AI and document processing

When you request an AI summary, rehab estimate, receipt scan, or invoice scan, the relevant text, financial inputs, image, or PDF is sent through DealCalc's secure backend to OpenAI for processing. Source receipt and invoice files are not saved to your DealCalc account. Structured details are saved only when you apply them. AI outputs and limited usage records may be stored so DealCalc can show results, manage limits, prevent abuse, and improve reliability. OpenAI may retain API safety logs under its own data controls; DealCalc requests that Responses API application state not be stored.

Property and location services

When you use address search, property lookup, rent estimates, or comparable-property tools, your search or address and related property details may be sent to Google Maps or RentCast. DealCalc may cache returned property data and record limited usage information to operate these features.

Accounts, purchases, and diagnostics

Supabase provides authentication and cloud storage. RevenueCat receives your DealCalc user ID and, when available, email address, and processes purchase and subscription history with Apple or Google to restore access and provide billing analytics. DealCalc does not store full payment-card details. Expo, app stores, operating systems, and infrastructure providers may process device, update, crash, security, or diagnostic information under their own policies.

Sharing and website activity

If you create a share link, the selected deal preview is available to anyone with that link until it expires or is revoked. DealCalc.com may record limited first-party events such as the page, button label, referrer, and time to understand site use. DealCalc does not sell personal information or use it for third-party targeted advertising.

Retention and account deletion

Account and saved data are retained while your account is active and as needed for security, legal, billing, and operational obligations. To delete your account in the app, open Settings, expand Account, then choose Account & Data and Delete Account. After you confirm, DealCalc immediately and permanently deletes your profile, saved deals, project trackers, portfolio, reports, and shared links. This cannot be undone. Rare processing failures are retried automatically. Deleting your DealCalc account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Limited records may remain where required for legal, billing, fraud-prevention, or security obligations. Information that has been deidentified and is no longer associated with your account may remain until its normal expiration. Contact support@dealcalc.com if you need deletion assistance.

Security and service providers

DealCalc uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no service can guarantee absolute security. Providers used to operate DealCalc may include Supabase, OpenAI, RentCast, Google Maps, RevenueCat, Apple, Google, Expo, and Vercel. Each provider processes information under its own terms and privacy commitments.
